About Adam Robins
'It all started as a six-year-old boy entertaining his mother and her friends at a dinner party using prawn heads to improvise puppetry. His mother's friend suggested to put him into a dance studio to explore his theatrical personality. Singing, dancing, a pair of second-hand female taps shoes, and the use of anything for costuming, fuelled his fire which manifested his sense of freedom to perform. This nurtured passion eventually stemmed into talent and subsequently, morphed into a lifestyle which Adam now has the pleasure of calling his career.'
This was me, and it captures the essence of my younger years, where my passion for entertaining was born – bursting with ideas, creativity and the desire to perform. This boy, who once found his passion for life through prawn head puppets, finding any chance to perform and entertain, has shaped the imaginative and professional performer that I have become today.
But this was just the start.
